- Visit the official website of FSSAI http://foodlicensing.fssai.gov.in on any browser such as chrome, internet explorer, firefox, etc.
- Log in to your portal using Food License as a username and password
- Once the portal is logged in, click on the tool “Apply for Renewal” to proceed further
- Form A for Basic Registration and Form B for State and Central Registration, are the necessary form for renewal depending upon the type of entity. Complete the form with all the details thoroughly and upload all the necessary documents and submit the application online
- Once the form is submitted, the applicant will get Application Reference Number which is generated online for future reference.

- Basic FSAI License:
- Passport size photograph of the applicant
- Identity proof of applicant such as Voter Id/Driving License/Passport

The validity of the FSSAI License in India
FSSAI License is obtained with the validity of 1 to 5 years depending upon the discretion of the Food Business Operator. Renewal Fees vary as per the duration of the validity of the License as chosen by the entity. It is compulsory for every food business operator to get such a license before starting the company and to get it renewed before it gets expired after its due date.
The applicant shall apply for renewal within 30 days before its due date. It is advisable to renew the license to avoid the penalty of INR 100 per day until the license is renewed.
